Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
Experience:
• 12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
• 24 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience is required.
• Experience with Epic is required from any number of months.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Pennsylvania license or compact license (required for submission).
• This role will require floating to multiple units
• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <50 miles from facility will be processed as local.
• Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
Pre-employment modules may be required for this role. Please upload any certifications or health documents you have to your profile to expedite your on-boarding process.
Additional Details:
Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend and every other holiday.
Floating Requirements: Travelers will be first to float if no need on the unit.
Special Requests: RTO required at the time of submission. RTO after submission will not be accepted. Please ensure your traveler does not have any time off planned that will prevent them from completing pre-start compliance on time for the proposed start date. Block Scheduling cannot be accommodated. When accepting this offer, traveler is committing that this is their primary contract and there are no other time off and scheduling requests other than what is preapproved in this offer. Please provide a range of 3-5 days for potential interview times (travelers with provided interview times will be prioritized). PA Fingerprints are required and may require travel time (over 100 miles). If your traveler does not have a PA Childline and FP result from within 5 years of start they must go in at the earliest offered fingerprint date or risk being cancelled as results take up to 2 weeks to process, these cannot pend. Travelers must complete labs within 48 hours of signing.
Required Skills/Experience: RN should be able to work on Medical-surgical unit with the ability to care for hospice patients at times.
Preferred Skills/Experience: Teaching Hospital Experience
Unit Details: 30 bed med/surg unit with tele.
Types of Patients on Unit: Adult and geriatric patients with a medical focus such as pneumonia, COPD, heart failure, diabetes. The unit also receives patients requiring short-term hospice care.
