Overview
Assist department manager in supervision of day to day operational workflow for the cardiac sonography departments. This includes: process improvement initiatives, upholding behavior standards (providing disciplinary action as needed), working with the EPIC and Cardiology IT teams with needed orders, scheduling adjustments, and ISCV problems, developing front line staff's proficiency through coordination of appropriate education and competencies, assisting Manager and Technical Director with maintenance of technical policies and procedures, working with vendors to insure equipment is operational, developing pertinent patient education materials, and other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities
Essential Functions
Responsible for process improvement initiatives.
Working with the EPIC and Cardiology IT teams with needed orders, scheduling adjustments, and ISCV problems.
Upholding behavior standards (providing disciplinary action as needed).
Developing front line staff's proficiency through coordination of appropriate education and competencies.
Assisting Manager and Technical Director with maintenance of technical policies and procedures.
Working with vendors to insure equipment is operational.
Perform quality and performance audits.
Provide necessary data analytic reports.
Department Specific Job Function
Oversee scheduling of all cardiac sonographers.
Supervise and assist with staff behavior, Kronos, and department workflows.
Assist with appropriate policy additions, edits, and reviews.
Assist with patient care when and where needed within the Echo department.
Oversee staff orientation, yearly competencies, and ongoing work quality.
Oversee Echo lab accreditation requirements.
Work in the Echo lab 20% of scheduled hours unless approved for other tasks.

Compensation and Benefits
The compensation range for this position is $39.09per hour - $67.23per hour. This represents a good faith minimum and maximum range for the role at the time of posting by Carle Health. The actual compensation offered a candidate will be dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s experience, qualifications, location, training, licenses, shifts worked and compensation model.
