Job Description

The Opportunity:

Saint Luke's South in Overland Park, KS is seeking a Telemetry Registered Nurse, weekend work program, to join their new Intermediate 3 Unit team. As an RN on this team, you will have the opportunity to provide care to patients with various conditions and treatment plans including but not limited to: Stroke, Heart Failure, and STEMI. This is a team that does what is right for the patient and works together for the common goal, to be "The best place to get care. The best place to give care."

The Work:

• Utilizes the nursing process

• Performs patient care, delegating patient care tasks and for supervision of other patient care staff

• Coordinates the plan of care for a group of assigned patients and consulting with other members of the health care team when indicated to ensure optimal patient outcomes

• Demonstrates proficiency and abides by policies, rules, guidelines and procedures

To be successful, you need to be patient focused, team oriented and have a strong ability to change directions quickly. We are looking for positive nurses who embrace change, eager to learn, enjoys critical thinking and solutions focused.

Job Requirements:
  • Weekend Work must work a minimum of 49 weekends per year
  • Work to include a total of 24 hours (2 shifts) between 1900 on Friday night and 0700 on Monday morning. One shift must include Saturday.

Less than 1 year

Basic Life Support - American Heart Association or Red Cross, Registered Nurse - Various

Associate Degree
