Job Title: Mobile Maintenance Mechanic
What this job involves:
The Mobile Maintenance Mechanic performs both preventative and corrective maintenance on mechanical, electrical, and plumbing equipment/systems across assigned facilities. This role involves independently completing maintenance tasks, conducting inspections and repairs to property interior and exterior areas, and assisting with various maintenance and repair efforts while ensuring compliance with all safety procedures and documentation requirements.
Your day-to-day tasks will include:
• Clean HVAC coils, change filters and belts, and perform preventative maintenance on HVAC equipment
• Maintain and repair locks, locking mechanisms, closers, doors, and furniture
• Maintain and complete documentation for fire extinguishers and other building systems
• Maintain and repair plumbing components including toilets, urinals, lavatories, flush valves, sinks, drains, water heaters, piping, and sump pumps
• Prepare, prime and paint building interior and exterior surfaces and perform general handyman tasks
• Complete special tasks including painting, locksmith work, tenant service requests, and general maintenance as assigned
• Prioritize all preventative maintenance, corrective and emergent work orders for the site (annual, monthly, weekly, and daily)
• Update work order status in real time utilizing CMMS system and submit P-card receipts daily
• Complete required safety trainings, hazard assessments, and escalate problems to customers and managers in a timely manner
Desired experience and technical skills:
Requirements:
• Experience with hand tools and power tools
• Proficient in basic computer application software such as MS Office, Outlook, CMMS (Maximo)
• Minimum 1 year of related experience and/or training in the areas of carpentry, electrical, and plumbing
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Ability to lift up to 80 lbs. and work from heights up to 30 ft.
• Available for call-in work and able to work in adverse conditions
Preferred:
• EPA Universal License • BAS (Building Automation System) experience
• Preventive maintenance experience on HVAC equipment
