Experience:
• 24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
• Must have at least 24 months of Intensive Care Unit experience within the past 4 years.
• Experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a West Virginia license or compact license (required after submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.
• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
• Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

Additional Details:
Previous Employment Requirements: Previous perm staff must be gone for 2 years before they are eligible to return in a traveler capacity. No exceptions.
If candidate worked a perm facility in the last 12 months, 1 reference must be from perm facility.
Roles requiring a state licensure only: Cannot have any licensure hits
Shift & Scheduling: Weekends as scheudled
Floating Requirements: Floating to medsurg/telemetry and to occasional 1:5-6 ratio. this is based on acuity and would not be applicable for “critical” ICU patients
Preferred Skills/Experience: Would love someone who is agreeable to pediatric care and obtaining PALS while there.
Unit Details: Our icu is a 4 bed icu but functions as a step down pt type of unit. We very rarely have a vent and for the most part these pts are bipap pts and drips such as insulin, cardizem, and levophed on occasion.
7 days maximum time off
