Department/Unit Summary
Provides direct patient care in a blended CCU/PCU setting, managing treatments, medications, monitoring, and daily living support. Collaborate with the care team on discharge planning, patient education, and advocacy. Patient population includes COPD, CHF, ESRD, post-cath, and occasional psychiatric cases requiring observation. Staffing ratios vary by acuity: 2:1 for vented or drip-dependent CCU patients, 3:1 for stable CCU, and up to 4:1 for PCU-level care.

Qualifications and Requirements
Applicants should have a current state RN license and possess an associates degree from an accredited nursing school. Additional requirements include:
BLS certification is required.
ACLS is required within 1 year of hire.
Previous experience in acute care hospital setting preferred
