Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Project Administrator to join our team for a full time, onsite opportunity in Newark, DE. The primary responsibility of this role is to complete basic data entry, scanning and indexing various source documents into a document imaging system for storage, processing, and data management purposes within the public sector.
What You’ll Do
Prepare documents for digitalization by separating a variety of records to prep for their indexing subtype
Operate scanning equipment to convert paper documents into digital formats, ensuring clarity and readability of scanned images, as necessary
Accurately index and categorize digital documents within the imaging system, adhering to established naming conventions and organizational standards
Implement document retention policies, ensuring compliance with designated retention schedules, as necessary
Perform quality checks on documents to validate the document was received in the proper format
Ensure the security and confidentiality of all digital records, following data protection regulations
Maintain assigned office equipment in a clean and professional manner
Work closely with managers and team members to ensure that all necessary documentation is collected, indexed, and maintained
What You’ll Need
Required:
High school diploma or equivalent
Experience with Microsoft Suite applications or equivalent
Exceptional organizational skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to clearly convey information to team members and managers
Familiarity with document imaging systems and related software
Demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor
Transportation to/from office, dependable and on-time
Be available to work a minimum of one Saturday a month, if necessary
Physical Demands
Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state and local standards
Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc
Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard
The pay rate for this position is $16 per hour (USD). Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including location, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as 401k retirement account access. Employees in this role may also be entitled to paid sick leave as provided by applicable law.
