Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and technically skilledEntry Level Toll Equipment Technicianto join our team. This position will befull-timecontract andonsite.
What You’ll Do
Read and interpret complex schematics, parts/wiring diagrams, and establish test procedures
Follow written and verbal instructions accurately
Utilize tools such as volt/amp meters, oscilloscopes, frequency counters, network analyzers, and basic hand tools
Recognize electronic components and their functions
Read and interpret technical documents including wiring schematics and equipment manuals
Understand computer network principles, computer repair,fiber optic systems, RF systems,maintenance managementsystems, CCTV systems, UPS maintenance, and facilities maintenance
Communicate effectively in both oral and written forms
Work safely at heights up to thirty (30) feet and lift up to fifty (50) pounds
Determine equipment malfunctions to locate the source of trouble and make repairs or adjustments
Performpreventative maintenanceand frequent inspection of equipment
Troubleshootequipment networking issues, perform hardware installations and cable terminations
Configure toll equipment software, network device IP configurations, and RF configurations
Conduct daily site inspections of tolling equipment and associated systems
Completemaintenance documentationaccurately and in a timely manner
Interpret wiring schematics fortroubleshootingand replacing parts
Diagnose andtroubleshoottolling equipment using various software tools
Install, maintain, and monitor CCTV cameras and NVRs
Coordinate with senior technicians for complex malfunctions
Remove, repair, and replace damaged equipment
Assist with the installation and testing of equipment at new and existing tolling sites
Perform additional duties as required
What You'll Need
Must possess and maintain a valid Class E Driver’s License
Availability for on-call work after normal working hours
Knowledge of electronic systems and components
Skilled in the use of technical tools and software environments (Windows, Unix, Linux)
Ability to read and comprehend technical andmaintenance documentation
Excellentproblem-solving skillsand attention to detail
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to manage time effectively and work independently when required
Within one year of hire, obtain COMPTIA A+ Training or equivalent, Aerial Lift Vehicle Operation Certification, Intermediate Maintenance of Traffic Certification, and complete a 10-hour OSHA Safety Course
Potential for overnight travel

Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state, and local standards
Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.
Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor
The pay for this position is $23.00 per hour (USD). Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including location, experience, and education.Benefitpackage includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as 401k retirement account access. Employees in this role receive paid time off and may also be entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
