Our Financial Services client is seeking a Performance Tester to join their team.
Location: Jersey City, NJ (Hybrid 3 days onsite/ 2 days remote)

Description:
Position needs to fulfill several key responsibilities in the Performance area for DAIT; Responsibilities include the following:
o Ability to lead performance efforts - project analysis, resource assignments
o Participate in performance test requirements and make sure others on task (ScrumMaster/Product Owner)
o Ability and experience in managing a team of PT Testers
o Prior Performance Execution experience
o Lead Performance defect triage meetings and orient towards solution
o Ability to mobilize others in team and out for root cause analysis of issues and performance bottlenecks
o Test Plan Review and Guidance
o Performance Test plan/test strategy, results Review and Guidance
o Very proficient knowledge of specific Technology in LOB space
o Expert communication skills
o The candidate(s) must possess exceptional written and verbal communication skills; and be able to demonstrate those skills to a varying level of internal external resources, to include senior leadership.
o The candidate should be self-motivated and be able to detect a major concern that should be escalated to management for resolution.
o Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical personnel.
o Ability to work or lead a technical team from diversified geography and culture to complete strategic planning, mission-critical design and development work.
o Strong results-oriented awareness, with an optimistic and enterprising attitude.
o Experience in diagnosing complex technical issues.
o Leverage profiling tools (i.e. dynaTrace) to analyze and define performance characteristics of an application, recommend enhancements, and trouble shoot bottlenecks
o LoadRunner (VuGen) Web (UI) and Web Service protocol scripting experience at high level of expertise
o Understanding of basic performance metrics: TPS, RT, Memory, GC, CPU. IO, etc.
o Strong monitoring experience (Splunk, Dynatrace)
o Proficient in the following tools: Dynatrace, LoadRunner/Performance Center, Splunk
o Manage in an agile environment leading to solutions with little supervision
o Strong results-oriented awareness, with an optimistic and enterprising attitude.
o Experience in diagnosing complex technical issues.
o JMeter experience
o Python experience
