The Manager of Major Account Executives leads a team responsible for delivering exceptional service to UniFirst’s National Account clients. This role is focused on long-term relationship development, customer retention, and execution of service excellence. Customer Focus

  • Build and maintain strong executive-level client relationships.
  • Drive customer retention and loyalty through consistent service delivery and value creation.
  • Act as a strategic advisor, proactively addressing client needs and expectations.

Leadership & Team Development

  • Recruit, develop, and manage a team of Major Account Executives.
  • Provide coaching, mentoring, and professional development opportunities.
  • Establish performance expectations and lead a high-performing, remote team environment.

Culture & Values

  • Champion a respectful, inclusive, and transparent workplace culture.
  • Lead with integrity and consistent alignment with UniFirst’s core values.
  • Encourage accountability and collaboration across geographically dispersed teams.

Qualifications

Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree preferred.

Experience:

  • Minimum 2+ years in a service or sales management role in a service-driven organization.
  • 3+ years managing major/national accounts or leading key account sales teams.
  • Demonstrated success in executive-level negotiations and strategic partnership management.
  • Experience working effectively in a fast-paced, remote environment.

Skills:

  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication abilities.
  • Advanced problem-solving, multitasking, and prioritization skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, and modern web-based tools.

Additional Requirements:

  • Willingness and ability to travel overnight (approximately 30% of the time).
