The manager is responsible for the daily operational activities of the Cath Lab and Special Procedures areas. Operational responsibilities include: facilitating a smooth workflow and effective communication processes among caregivers, assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating all aspects of care/services delivered; ensuring quality programs, patient safety and a level of customer service that strives to exceed internal and external customer expectations; developing strong relationships with primary customers and ensures the delivery of timely and efficient services; effectively assists the cardiologist, surgeons, proceduralists, and interventional radiologists in all appropriate non-invasive/invasive diagnostic and interventional procedures in Cath Lab and Special Procedures areas.

EDUCATION/TRAINING/ EXPERIENCE:
  1. Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Healthcare administration, or related field required.
  2. Master's degree in nursing or related field, preferred.
  3. At least three (3) years' experience as clinical staff in Cath Lab, Interventional Radiology (IR), Intensive Care Unit, or PACU required.
  4. RN with at least three (3) years progressive management experience required preferably in Cath lab, Intensive Care Unit, or PACU.
  5. Ability to instruct, supervise and evaluate the work performance of others.

CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES

  1. Registered Nurse with current, unencumbered California RN license
  2. Current ACLS, BLS certification required; PALS within 90 days of hire.
  3. MAB is required to be completed on the first day of work. (Grandfathered: existing employees must complete new requirements by 6/9/2025.)
