Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our team!
In this role, you will be highly utilized for your skill and education with a focus on our surgical caseload. You will maintain detailed surgical records, review and implement treatment plans, and address client questions regarding their pet's care. You will also work closely with your team to manage the veterinarian's orders, ensuring the highest standards of patient care while maintaining an efficient workflow to keep procedures on schedule.
Our hospital enthusiastically supports the education and growth of its team members. We are an approved externship site with San Juan College and we have a robust internal training program for team members looking to grow their skills.
This is a full-time position, with flexible scheduling options, and availability needed Monday-Friday.
NO WEEKENDS! Must be available to work 1 closing shift per week (until 8:30p). Full-Time Benefits and Compensation: - Compensation: $22.50-$24.50/hour, **for each hour worked, based on experience and skillset

Minimum Qualifications and Skillset :
- Current Veterinary Technician License in the state of New York required.
- Proficiency in the following skills:
- Surgical assisting, including anesthetic monitoring & dentistry
- Lab procedures
- Radiology
- Medical calculations
- Computer literacy is a must
