Experience:
• 12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
• 24 months of Intensive Care Unit experience is required.
• Experience with Cerner is preferred from any number of months.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Wisconsin license or compact license (required for submission).
• This role will require floating to multiple units
• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <60 miles from facility will be processed as local.
• Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

- Will accept a strong tele RN who is willing to learn vents/drips
Unit Details:
- We are a blended unit of MS/ICU patients. 5 ICU beds and 27 MS. ICU RNs at times take 1-2 MS patients depending on acuity or ICU volumes in ICU. For example, the ICU RN may have 1 ICU patient with 2 MS patients. We also have CCTs with our RNs. We are flexible with scheduling
- - Ability to read Telemetry Strips as the position will need to read them once per shift in the ICU & must have Higher acuity PCU or ICU exp as this is a mixed unit. The expectation will be to take PCU-ICU level pts. as well as MS.
Patient ratios: Vents are 1:1 and ICU patients are 1:2-3 pending acuity.** 1:5-6 ratios are for MS. In ICU 1:2-3 ratio depending on acuity.
Shift & Scheduling:
- Variable Shifts 0500-1730 & 1700-0530
- Flex weekend/holiday rotation required
- No call

- Patient Age Groups: Adolescents, Adults, Pediatrics, Geriatrics
Orientation Hours: 24
Procedures/Diagnostics/Treatments Performed on Unit:
- Patient Diagnoses: Short anticipated length of stay - medical and surgical population
Procedures/Diagnostics/Treatments Performed on Unit:
- Adult/Geratric Population- Pneumonia, Covid, Diabetes, Atrial Fib, Cardiac Medicaiton titrations (tikosyn/etc.), COPD, ETOH Withdrawl, Appendectomies. Peds population - non-complicated RSV, Asthma, Appendectomies, Dehydration Cardioversions, TEE, Tranvenous Pacing, Permanent pacemaker placements in OR then return to floor, Ventilator patients.
- Bed Side Shift Reporting (BSSR), utilization of AIDET, and hourly rounding are required for all RN units - RNs will be requested to sign an attestation to confirm they are aware of this requirement
Required Credentials:
- Background initiation, BID, CCAP, and WI caregiver are to be completed and uploaded into Lotus within 48 hours
Proof of ID: Current Driver’s License or Government issued photo ID required
