Experience:
• 12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
• 24 months of Medical Surgical Float Pool experience is required.
• Experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Washington license or compact license (required after submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.
• Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.

Additional Details:
Nurses Only (w/ compact license) - must complete a one-time 6-hour suicide prevention training during onboarding according to the WA state regulations.
Shift & Scheduling: 7-7. Travelers will fill holes. Every other weekend. Holiday Requirement No
Procedures/Diagnostics/Treatments Performed on Unit: All general surgery patients, appendectomies, fractures, GI, Gyne, Vascular etc.
Float Requirement: Travelers are first to float - may float to the other surgical units or other medsurg units. Rare need for team nursing in Covid Medical unit. May be floated to ED for holds. On average, house 20-30 medsurg patients in the ED daily.
Equipment Used on Unit: (vents, Cpap, BiPap, etc) Cpap, NC
Skills Preferred: Tele monitoring with monitor techs. Not required to read strips but they do need to be able to recognize lethal rhythms and respond appropriately.
Required Credentials: Client Will Not Accept Any Travelers With License Hits Dealing With Diverting Meds Or Endangerment
