Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Experience:
• 12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
• Must have at least 12 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience within the past 12 months.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Virginia license or compact license (required for submission).
• This role will require floating to multiple locations
• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <60 miles from facility will be processed as local.
• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
• Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.

Additional Details:
A minimum of 1 year acute care experience is required to work in acute care facilities. The following are considered acute care facilities: Hospital (General Acute Care as well as Psychiatric, Specialized and Rehabilitation Hospitals, and Long Term Acute Care or LTAC), and Ambulatory Care Facilities.
Shift & Scheduling:
Weekend Hours: Every Other/ As Needed
Call Requirements: As Needed
Float Requirements: As Needed, May require travel within 25-mile radius of facility.
Patient Population e.g. “geriatric, adult, peds, etc.”: Serves all ages.
Required Skills/Experience:
1-2 years experience
Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action. Flexibility in scheduling and ability to work all shift patterns including weekends and holidays to ensure continuity of care and appropriateness of nursing coverage to the patients of Sovah Health Danville on all units
Procedures/Diagnostics/Treatments Performed on Unit: Post Op Orthopedic Procedures, Total Joints, etc
Required Credentials: Handle with Care

Sovah Health - Martinsville & Danville Facilities require consent for to random drug screening and must complete a Criminal Questionnaire/Consent Form. Random drug screens are completed on site.
