Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Experience:
• 24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
• 24 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience is required, with some of it within the last 6 months.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Arizona license or compact license (required for submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.
• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
• COVID booster required after submission. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.
• Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.

An interview may not be available prior to offer.
ER float positions will require floating between different ER satellite locations in the area. A home base facility will try to be established, however this may not be the facility the clinician is regularly at. A schedule will be made in advance, so clinicians is aware of what location they’ll be reporting to.
No block scheduling.
Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained.

Must have unit/specialty experience in the past 6 months.
Shift & Scheduling: Weekend Requirement: 4 weekend shifts per 4 week schedule (Fri / Sat)
One major and minor holiday
Floating: Float to MedSurg Tele C5 and B2C
Types of Patients on Unit: General and Ortho trauma stepdown unit.
Chest tubes, drains, wound vacs. Little to no traction patients.
Amio, Cardizem to titrate down only.
Peritoneal dialysis patients on floor but contract dialysis handles.
Equipment Used on Unit: GE Monitors. Central monitoring station tech to read.
Unit Details: Med Surg - COVID Unit
30 beds
Others: Orientation - 12 Hours; 2 shifts on the floor
Special Requirements: Travelers will need to pass a dysrhythmia exam prior to start (with max 2 attempts), within 48 hours of offer.
There is also a pass/fail Sim Lab on day one of orientation (study guides will be provided with first day instructions.)
Facility holidays: 01/01/2025, 11/27/2025, 12/25/2025. Number of holidays allowed off: 1. Start assignment restriction: 14 days
