MANTECH seeks a mission-driven and highly organized Project Manager to join our Program Management Office (PMO) in direct support of a large DTIC contract in Stafford, VA.
You will play a key role in executing program oversight, driving performance across complex task areas, and supporting the Program Manager in ensuring mission success
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Assist the Program Manager in overall contract execution, including schedule, budget, staffing, and deliverables
- Monitor contract performance metrics and proactively address risks or gaps in service
- Serve as a primary liaison between the PMO, technical leads, government stakeholders, and subcontractors
- Prepare and deliver regular program status briefings and reports to internal leadership and customer representatives
- Support the planning and coordination of task orders, modifications, and resource allocations
- Ensure alignment of program activities with customer objectives and evolving mission needs
- Act on behalf of the Program Manager during periods of absence or as delegated
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in program or project management
- Demonstrated experience supporting DoD contracts with direct customer engagement
- Proficiency in managing multiple workstreams and cross-functional teams
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working directly with MCWL, MCIA, or Marine Corps customers
- Knowledge of Marine Corps operational concepts and experimentation cycles
- Experience overseeing subcontractor performance
- Familiarity with government acquisition and task order management processes
- Equivalent experience in Program or Project Management may be considered in lieu of a degree
Clearance Requirements:
- Must have a current/ active TS/SCI security clearance
Physical Requirements:
- The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
- Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.
