What You Will Be Doing:
- Fabricates cut aluminum stock using drills, and other tools.
- Attaches hardware as appropriate.
- Cuts aluminum stock with saw as needed.
- Keeps work area in a neat, safe, clean, hazard free condition.
- Cleans work area, tools, and equipment at the end of each day.
- Must be able to read a tape measure.
- Inspects products for any abnormalities and notifies supervisor immediately of any issues.
- Must be willing to be cross-trained and move to other areas when needed.
- Work as part of a team.
- Regular and predictable attendance, ability to safely perform tasks.
- Adherence to all safety policies and procedures are essential functions of the job.
- Follow all company rules and policies.
- A history of great work attendance.
- Sense of urgency with the ability to advance in the organization.
- Performs other duties as assigned
Skills You Bring:
- Ability to read a tape measure
- Proficiency in operating machinery.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to use power tools.
- Previous custom door experience a plus
- Must be able to lift 50 to 75 lbs. unassisted.
- Must be able to lift up to 150 lbs. with assistance.
- Must be able to push weights greater than 150lbs with a team.
- Must be able to stand for long periods.
- Must have strong hand-eye coordination/ Detail Oriented.
- Must be able to follow instructions from Supervisor, Plant Manager and Branch Manager.
