Experience:
• 12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
• 24 months of Critical Care Float Pool experience is required.
• 3 months of experience with Epic is required from any number of months.
• Diploma completion required
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Washington license or compact license (required for submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

- Weekend rotation: every other
Required Skills/Experience: Cardiac rhythm interpretation and telemetry monitoring, vent/trachs and bipap management, invasive line management, ostomy, general drains, chest tubes, IV medication titration; may act as “lead” in ED holding
Types of Patients on Unit: Respiratory failure, ESRD, AKI, COPD, GI bleeds, DKA, sepsis, general post-op patients, CVA’s, ETOH, overdose; NO craniotomies, major traumas, or major cardiothoracic
Equipment Used on Unit: Alaris (IV Pumps), Pyxis (medication dispensing)
Floating Requirements: This is a floating position throughout Auburn (or possibly Covington) to any ICU level patient or below; majority of time (75%) will be spent with PCU level patients in ED overflow
- Required Credentials:
- If you have a multistate license, you will be required to complete a 1-time 6-hour suicide prevention training according to WA state regulations.
