Position Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated Field Team Leader to join our expanding operations. This pivotal role involves traveling to various Jersey Mike's locations to provide hands-on support, training, and operational guidance to store managers and their teams. The ideal candidate will be a proactive leader with a passion for developing talent and optimizing store performance. This position is a stepping stone towards General and District Manager positions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with store managers to identify training needs and operational areas for improvement.
- Conduct on-site training sessions for new and existing staff members on all aspects of Jersey Mike's operations, including food preparation, customer service standards, cleanliness, and brand protocols.
- Implement and reinforce best practices to ensure consistent quality and efficiency across all assigned locations.
- Assist managers in developing and implementing strategies to elevate overall store operations, enhance customer experience, and achieve sales goals.
- Provide constructive feedback and coaching to team members to foster a culture of continuous improvement and high performance.
- Monitor operational compliance with company policies, health and safety regulations, and brand standards.
- Act as a liaison between store management and regional leadership, reporting on progress and challenges.
- Support new store openings or special projects as needed.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a leadership role within the food service or quick-service restaurant (QSR) industry, preferably with multi-unit experience.
- Proven ability to train, mentor, and motivate staff effectively.
- Strong understanding of restaurant operations, including inventory management, cost control, and customer service.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively while traveling.
- Must possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Flexibility to travel frequently to various Jersey Mike's locations.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in hospitality management are a plus.
