What this job involves: As a Facilities Coordinator, you'll play a crucial role in supporting our facilities management team. This position requires a highly organized and detail-oriented individual who can oversee administrative duties, manage facility work orders, coordinate purchasing and invoicing processes, and ensure compliance with cGMP standards.
What your day-to-day will look like:
- Manage administrative duties, including filing systems, Building Management System reports, and the Facility calendar
- Oversee facility work orders using the SAP system, generating reports and tracking spare parts inventory
- Coordinate purchasing and invoice processing for facility projects and maintenance
- Ensure compliance with cGMP standards and participate in safety training initiatives
- Support project activities and serve as a liaison between facilities team, other departments, and external partners
- Identify and implement process improvements in facilities management operations
- Assist in maintaining compliance documentation and records
- Other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred
- 3+ years of experience in an industrial engineering/maintenance environment
- Proficiency in computer software systems, including SAP and Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience in computer or web-based work order management systems
- Strong organizational, keen attention to detail, and ability to work under time constraints.
- Strong time management, and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in a pharmaceutical or biotechnology facility environment
- Knowledge of facilities maintenance, best practices and industry standards
- Familiarity with project management methodologies
- Experience with energy management and sustainability initiatives
- Multilingual capabilities
- OSHA safety certification or related safety training
- Familiarity with Building Management Systems (BMS)
- Experience with cGMP compliance
