Facility Maintenance Supervisor

As a Facility Maintenance Supervisor at JLL, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the optimal operation and maintenance of essential equipment and facility infrastructure. You'll lead a team of skilled tradesmen and coordinate with OEM service providers to deliver high-level service through our Total Productive Maintenance process. We believe the most effective teams are built when everyone is empowered to thrive, and you'll demonstrate this by developing your team's capabilities while managing preventative maintenance, reactive work orders, and minor project tasks. This role requires someone with strong supervisory experience and maintenance expertise, particularly in a represented worker environment, who can navigate the complexities of union operations while maintaining our commitment to safety and operational excellence.
What your day-to-day will look like:
- Lead and develop a team of Electricians, Millwrights, Machine Repair technicians, and Pipefitters to optimize maintenance capabilities through skills development, tools and technology • Manage vendor relationships with OEM and outside service providers while ensuring compliance with GM Management of Change (MOC) and Safety Contract Management (SCM) processes
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical control systems on critical equipment to minimize downtime
- Deliver continuous improvement initiatives focused on Total Productive Maintenance metrics and provide daily Fast Response reporting for customer disruptions
- Support Global Manufacturing Systems (GMS) and Business Plan Development (BPD) processes while collaborating on weekend and holiday shutdown planning
- Manage work order processes through Corrigo and Maximo systems to satisfy customer needs and achieve KPI performance targets
- Oversee preventative and predictive maintenance programs to maximize equipment useful life and maintain zero recordable injuries
Required qualifications:
- High School Diploma required
- Minimum of 5 years hands-on maintenance industry experience
- Proven supervisory experience in a represented worker/union environment
- Excellent written and oral communication skills with ability to present complex information clearly to diverse audiences
- Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Access)
- Strong time management skills and ability to work independently and within team environments
- Basic knowledge of building systems including HVAC, motor & pump systems, piping systems, electrical systems, and general building repair
Preferred qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Experience with GM Management of Change (MOC) and Safety Contract Management (SCM) processes
- Familiarity with Corrigo and Maximo work order management systems
- Background in Total Productive Maintenance methodologies
- Experience with Global Manufacturing Systems (GMS) and Business Plan Development (BPD)
- Knowledge of UAW Collective Bargaining Agreement operations
