Our client, a leading organization in the engineering sector, is seeking an Engineering Technologist Associate to join their team. As an Engineering Technologist Associate, you will be part of the engineering department supporting various projects. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach to learning, which will align successfully with the organization.

Job Title: Engineering Technologist Associate

Location: South Bend, IN

Pay Range:32.14/hr

What's the Job

  • Perform engineering circuit analysis studies and customer impact studies.
  • Assist higher-level employees in handling well-defined portions of routine problems.
  • Maintain required records and prepare special reports for tests and equipment performance.
  • Participate in planning meetings covering scheduling, operations, and maintenance of equipment.
  • Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, to present ideas clearly.

What's Needed

  • A Bachelor's degree in engineering technology from an ABET accredited program or equivalent.
  • Basic understanding of utility accounting and financing.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and seek assistance when necessary.
  • Willingness to learn and apply technical knowledge to resolve basic problems.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build consensus and resolve conflicts.
