Job Description
We are looking for a Manager, Enterprise Computing Services who is responsible for managing a team of top-tier desktop support specialists. The ideal candidate will have a customer-first mentality and understand the importance of supporting CAI’s employees and associates. This role requires in-depth knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID, Microsoft Intune, and Microsoft Autopilot, and involves both technical troubleshooting and strategic planning to ensure optimal desktop performance across the organization. This position will be full-time and on-site in Allentown, PA.
What You’ll Do
Lead and manage the desktop support team, ensuring efficient and effective operations
Oversee the implementation and management of Intune for device management and security
Coordinate and execute laptop imaging and deployment processes to ensure seamless integration into the enterprise environment
Provide comprehensive hardware and software support to maintain optimal performance and user satisfaction
Manage and deploy devices using Entra and Autopilot technologies to streamline operations
Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure alignment with organizational goals and objectives
Develop and maintain documentation for processes and procedures related to desktop support
Monitor and analyze support requests to identify trends and implement improvements
Exposure to and a general understanding of current cybersecurity best practices
What You'll Need
Required:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
7+ years of progressive IT desktop support experience, including 3+ years in a managerial role
Proven experience in Microsoft Entra ID, Microsoft Intune, and Microsoft Autopilot Strong understanding of network architecture, virtualization, server administration, and data storage solutions.
Proficiency with ITSM tools, monitoring systems, and scripting/automation (e.g., PowerShell, Terraform)
Excellent leadership, project management, and communication skills
Physical Demands
Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions
Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.
Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor
The pay range for this position is $80,000 - $110,000 annually (USD). Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including location, experience, and education. Benefit package includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as 401k retirement account access. Employees in this role receive paid time off and may also be entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
