Intermediate Care (IMC) – MedStar Good Samaritan Hospital

**This position is for FT Night Shift

Unit Highlights

·36-bed intermediate care unit serving a diverse medical population

·Advanced care modalities:

- Respiratory support (BiPAP, CPAP)

- Cardiac and insulin drips for complex management

·Dedicated support staff, including:

- Assigned Telemetry Technicians for real-time cardiac monitoring

- On-unit Respiratory Therapists for seamless interventions

·Collaborative nursing team focused on teamwork, growth, and continuous learning

Key Responsibilities

Deliver skilled nursing care to patients and families with needs ranging from uncomplicated to highly complex. Identify and analyze changes in patient status, address evolving problems, and plan appropriate interventionsdelivered directly or coordinated through collaboration with the nursing team.

Qualifications

·ADN, BSN, MSN, or CNL from an accredited School of Nursing

·Prior clinical nursing experience preferred

·Active MD RN or Compact RN license required

·Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification

This position has a hiring range of $35.00 - $56.91
