Type of Opportunity: Full Time (0.9 FTE/36 hours per week)
Work Schedule: 12 Hour Nights

Responsibilities:
  • Patient Monitoring: Continuously assess and monitor patients’ vital signs, symptoms, and overall condition.

  • Medication Administration: Deliver medications and treatments as prescribed, including IV therapy and sedation.

  • Emergency Response: Act swiftly in life-saving situations such as cardiac arrest, respiratory failure, or shock.

  • Diagnostic Support: Assist with and interpret diagnostic tests like blood work, imaging, and EKGs.

  • Medical Equipment Operation: Manage ventilators, infusion pumps, and other critical care devices.

  • Documentation: Maintain detailed and accurate patient records, including treatment plans and progress notes.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care.

  • Family Support: Provide emotional support and education to patients’ families about conditions and treatments.

  • Infection Control: Follow strict protocols to prevent the spread of infection in the ICU environment.

Qualifications:

• Associate Degree in Nursing
• State of New Mexico or Compact State Nursing License
• BLS certification REQUIRED at time of hire

1 year of Telemetry experience Preferred
