Our client, a leading player in the procurement industry, is seeking a Buyer to join their team. As a Buyer, you will be part of the procurement department supporting various teams. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent negotiation abilities, and a proactive approach which will align successfully in the organization.

Location: Parsippany, NJ
Pay Range: $35.00-39.00per hour
What's the Job
- Utilize procurement skills to work through sourcing management processes and tools.
- Conduct spend analytics and negotiate contracts along with terms and conditions.
- Manage key supplier relationships to ensure continuity of business.
- Identify opportunities related to each category and drive supplier base consolidation.
- Enhance usage of data systems and maintain procurement spend visibility.
What's Needed
- Strong analytical skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- 2-3 years of procurement or category management related experience.
- Experience with Arriba is a plus
- Experience in indirect procurement is a plus.
- Proficiency in Excel, including Pivot Tables and data cross-referencing (Excel test required).
