Role Summary
The Head of Enterprise Architecture is a high impact, highly visible role reporting to the CTO, shaping bpx’s digital future and driving adoption of transformative technologies. You’ll own the strategy for enterprise architecture, software engineering, infrastructure, and emerging technologies, with a strong focus on AI enablement.
By uniting data, infrastructure, applications, cybersecurity, and operations into a cohesive roadmap, you’ll accelerate value delivery, reduce complexity, and maintain architectural integrity. Leading a high performing team of architecture and engineering leaders, you’ll provide strategic direction, governance, and technical thought leadership to deliver scalable, pragmatic, and business driven solutions.
Key Accountabilities:
- Set and drive enterprise technology vision in partnership with the CTO and Technology leadership team, ensuring alignment with bpx’s strategic objectives and industry transformation goals.
- Lead enterprise architecture and engineering strategy across infrastructure, applications, integration, and emerging technologies, with a focus on AI/ML platforms and architecture principles.
- Develop and maintain the technology roadmap that connects business priorities to enabling capabilities, ensuring initiatives are achievable, value driven, and grounded in operational reality.
- Champion architectural governance to ensure solutions are secure, reliable, and cost effective, while enabling flexibility and speed of delivery.
- Foster cross-domain integration by aligning work from data, infrastructure, cybersecurity, software engineering, and operations teams into a unified delivery framework.
- Advance modern engineering practices including cloud native architectures, DevSecOps, API-first design, and event driven integration patterns.
- Collaborate with business and product leaders to identify opportunities for digital innovation, particularly in AI-driven capabilities, automation, and decision intelligence.
- Lead and develop a high performing team, creating an inclusive, accountable, and growth oriented culture.
- Maintain strong vendor and partner relationships, ensuring strategic partnerships deliver value and innovation while managing cost and risk.
- Advise executive leadership on emerging technologies, industry trends, and competitive positioning in digital capabilities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- 15+ years in technology leadership roles, with significant experience in enterprise architecture, software engineering, and infrastructure strategy.
- Proven success designing and executing enterprise-wide technology roadmaps in complex, fast-changing environments.
- Deep expertise in AI/ML architecture and enablement, including data integration, model deployment, and ethical AI practices.
- Strong understanding of cloud platforms, hybrid architectures, integration patterns, and cybersecurity principles.
- Demonstrated ability to influence and collaborate with senior executives and cross functional teams to drive strategic change.
- Experience in large scale, distributed systems design and modernization programs.
- Track record of leading high performing technical teams and developing senior leaders.

- Strong business acumen with the ability to link technical strategies to measurable business outcomes and ROI.
- Exceptional communication, facilitation, and relationship building skills.
- Adept at balancing strategic vision and pragmatic execution.
- Comfortable operating in a high change, high ambiguity environment.
- Experience negotiating with and managing strategic vendor relationships.
How much do we pay (Base) $192,000 - $240,000.
*Note that the pay range listed for this position is a good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible base compensation at the time of posting.
