Head of Business Agility & Transformation

Role Summary
The Head of Business Agility & Transformation is a strategic partner to the CTO and executive leadership team, driving the evolution of bpx’s scaled agile capabilities and enabling enterprise-wide transformation initiatives.
This is a high impact, high visibility role that sits at the intersection of technology, business strategy, and organizational change. You’ll help bpx sustain and evolve how we work, make decisions, and deliver value, ensuring our teams are aligned, adaptive, and equipped to succeed in a rapidly changing energy landscape.
Success in this role requires exceptional communication skills, a consultative mindset, strong business and financial acumen, and the ability to connect transformation efforts to measurable business outcomes.
Key Accountabilities:
- Evolve and safeguard agile ways of working by sustaining and adapting bpx’s scaled agile framework, ceremonies, and governance to remain effective as the business grows and changes.
- Facilitate enterprise decision making through design and leadership of executive workshops and senior leadership offsites, strategic work sessions that translate complex challenges into clear, actionable decisions.
- Enable cross functional transformation by partnering with leaders across business units to design and guide high priority initiatives, ensuring alignment, collaboration and delivery of intended outcomes.
- Drive business value and ROI by connecting transformation activities to tangible results, tracking performance against KPIs, value delivery, and investment returns.
- Coach and build leadership capability in agile principles, facilitation, and change leadership, meeting stakeholders where they are and guiding them through ambiguity.
- Strengthen portfolio visibility and increase transparency of enterprise initiatives through integrated dashboards, dependency tracking, and cross business communications.
- Promote continuous improvement and champion a culture of learning, adaptability, and iterative improvement across teams and functions.
- Protect critical processes without rigid adherence to rules that hinder innovation or agility.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, technology, or related field (advanced degree preferred).
- 10+ years’ experience in transformation, program management, or enterprise agility roles, ideally in a Director/Senior Director capacity.
- Proven success sustaining and evolving agile frameworks (Scaled Agile Framework, LeSS, or equivalent) in a complex, cross functional environment.
- Demonstrated ability to facilitate at the executive level, translating strategic objectives into operational plans and measurable outcomes.
- Strong financial acumen with experience linking transformation to ROI and business performance.
- Experience balancing governance and agility in dynamic, high change organizations.
- Exceptional relationship building skills and the ability to influence without direct authority.
- Experience in organizational change management (OCM) and leadership coaching strongly preferred.
- Consulting experience welcome, provided it’s paired with a pragmatic, outcome driven approach.
