Clean Harbors is looking for a Central Maintenance Planner to sit in Norwell, MA. The Central Maintenance Planner is responsible for maximizing operational profit through the use of effective planned maintenance. Accountable for all outsourced third-party repair orders on a daily basis. Schedules all outsourced third
party maintenance in accordance with manpower and shop space availability to minimize maintenance delays and maximize asset availability.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensuring that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times;
Receive all incoming Fleet Maintenance related calls, including driver breakdowns;
Coordinate response to vehicle breakdowns by utilizing our nationwide network of preferred service providers;
Manage all third-party repair orders for our National Account Breakdown Service providers;
Review all quotes received while on shift and identify areas where repair cost can be reduced/eliminated;
Identify rework scenarios where repairs should be denied and or be covered under warranty;
Identify repairs that should be covered under OEM or aftermarket parts suppliers’ warranty;
Coordinate with third party vendors to collect quotes, invoices and preventative maintenance forms;
Create purchase orders for third-party breakdown repairs
Other assigned duties
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in business/engineering/Related area required
3 to 5 years’ experience
Ability to create actionable items out of data and information.
Strategic planning, coupled with tactical execution.
Strong leadership and personnel development skills
Ability to work across business lines in a matrix organization.
Strong negotiation skills
Ability to facilitate/train others, and ability to navigate and handle difficult conversations.
Knowledge of fleet maintenance systems and processes
Ability to use computer and applicable company software.
Proficient in MS Office Applications - MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS Access, MS project
Able to apply standards and processes that maintain regulatory compliance.
Demonstrated project and change leadership ability.
