How youll contribute

A Registered Nurse (RN) who excels in this role provides direct patient care to patients using the nursing process in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice. Responsibilities include:

  • Performs plan of care intervention, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, as well as other medical care treatment.
  • Documents patient care given.
  • Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition as appropriate to care team, physician, patient, and family.
  • Assists patients with performing activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.
  • Collaborates as needed across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including patient transfer, discharge, referral and spiritual/psychosocial support needs.
  • Evaluates learning needs of patient and/or family and provides patient/family education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances.
  • Works as an advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient

This is a temporary role that we will employ someone in for up to 120 days. In addition to a base hourly rate of $60.00/hr, this role is eligible for the following:

  • Up to $2000/month housing reimbursement with receipts
  • Mileage for an initial trip and for a trip home and back twice a month.
  • PLEASE NOTE: our temporary roles are not eligible for shift differentials, paid time off or extended illness bank accruals.

Applicants should have a current NM RN or compact license and possess an associate or bachelors degree from an accredited nursing school. Additional requirements include:

  • Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) upon hire. New hires will have ninety (90) days to obtain American Heart Association certifications. Notwithstanding this 'grace period' for obtaining American Heart Association certifications, employees are not excused from being current in all existing certifications that are required for their position as outlined in the position job description.
