Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
Experience:
• 12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
• 22 months of Labor & Delivery Unit experience is required with some in the last 24 months.
• Experience with Epic is required from any number of months.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Washington license or compact license (required for submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <50 miles from facility will be processed as local.
• Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.

RTO must be listed at time of submission.
All positions at Providence Health & Services require that any and all lab items requested during onboarding be completed within 72 hours of signing a contract - no exceptions. This means candidates must be responsive and willing to go to a lab to complete health orders ASAP after signing. Failure to comply may lead to a pushed start or cancellation as assessed by the facility.
References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years
Cannot have any hits/suspensions on license or any background hits from any point in the past.
If you have a multistate/compact nursing license, you will be required to complete a one time 6 hour suicide prevention training according to the WA state regulations. (Nursing positions only).
All previous perm employees of Any Providence affiliated facility must be separated from the health system for a min of 3 months to qualify for a travel position. All Swedish facilities honor active compact license.
Patient diagnoses: Labor and Delivery/Post Partum/OB Triage/ Antepartum/ Normal Newborn
Special procedures:
- Vaginal Delivery/Cesarean Delivery/Circulate in OR/ Start adult IVs
- Blood/Blood Products Administration;
- Drains, Epidural Pumps, PCA Pumps;
- Insulin, Magnesium Sulfate
Transportation: Clinician must have reliable transportation; travel pairs require separate vehicles.
Scheduling: Facility scheduling needs must be met; special requests (e.g., block scheduling, late starts) will not be accommodated.
Housing: IF applicable - Clinician should secure housing before accepting and be aware of local cost of living.
ACLS, BLS - Must be AHA (Instructor, Provider, or RQI) or “Heart&Stroke” certification from Canadian Heart & Stroke Foundation only
NRP - AAP, AHA or Canadian Paediatric Society (CPS).
5 days maximum time off
2 references from last 3 years (Manager/Supervisor reference type) - required for submission
