Job Summary As a
Senior Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting senior leadership with insightful financial analysis, forecasting, and performance reporting. This is an exciting opportunity to make a direct impact in a mission-driven healthcare organization.
Key Responsibilities - Lead the development of financial models for budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning
- Analyze financial performance and prepare monthly and quarterly variance reports
- Collaborate with department and facility leaders to identify cost-saving opportunities and drive revenue growth
- Deliver executive-level dashboards, reports, and presentations
- Monitor key healthcare metrics including census, labor costs, and reimbursement trends
- Conduct scenario modeling and ROI analysis for new initiatives
- Support the annual budget process, coordinating inputs from cross-functional teams
- Partner with accounting to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (MBA or CPA preferred)
- 4-6 years of FP&A or financial analysis experience; healthcare industry experience highly preferred
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, complex financial modeling)
- Experience with financial planning tools and BI platforms (e.g., Adaptive Insights, Power BI, Tableau)
- Strong understanding of financial statements and healthcare financial metrics
- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and present insights to cross-functional teams
