Experience:
• 24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
• 24 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience is required with some in the last 24 months.
• 12 months of travel experience is required from any number of months.
• 3 months of experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Massachusetts license (required for submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <60 miles from facility will be processed as local.
• Flu vaccination required after submission. Declinations not accepted.

Additional Details:
Seasonal Flu Vaccine is required if working during flu season (September 15-April 30th).
Must be fully vaccinated (exemptions are reviewed on a very limited basis).
No Block Scheduling for any Travelers at Salem.
Days/Eves/Nights Rotate & Every other weekend
Special Requirement: Must be able to read tele strips
We also care for NSTEMI, Post-Pacemaker, and Post-Cardiac Cath Lab patients (both with and without interventions)
Requirement
Years of Experience Required: 2 years
Floating Required: Travelers are required to float to applicable units when needed
Rotating Shifts Required:
Day Rotators may be rotated between (7a-7p, 11a-11p, or 7p-7a) when needed
Rotation frequency is usually low
Night positions do not rotate
Skill Sets Required:
Knowledge on cardiac drips
Ability to interpret Tele Strips
Nursing care for patients post cardiac catheterization and pacemaker is needed but not required
Day and Evening: 1:4 with max of 5
Night: 1:5-6
Certifications Required: Telemetry Certified
7 days maximum time off
1 reference from last 2 years (Manager/Supervisor reference type) - required for submission
1 reference from last 2 years (Charge/Lead reference type) - required for submission
