MANTECH seeks a versatile and experienced Facility Manager to join our team inChantilly, VA. In this role, you will support mission-critical government operations by overseeing the full scope of facilities management, logistics, and security functions. Drawing from over two decades of cross-functional experience, you will coordinate with stakeholders to optimize infrastructure performance and ensure compliance, safety, and seamless daily operations across multiple secure facilities.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Serving as the on-site corporate real estate representative for assigned facilities and providing end-to-end oversight of operational needs
- Leading the development, monitoring, and forecasting of comprehensive facility budgets using market research, risk assessment, and vendor negotiation strategies
- Managing and executing facilities projectssuch as upgrades and movesfrom scheduling and coordination to successful implementation
- Ensuring alignment of critical infrastructure including maintenance, logistics, IT, AV, and security systems to provide a seamless operational experience
- Performing regular facility audits and maintaining records to meet federal safety and compliance standards
- Collaborating closely with government stakeholders, vendors, and internal departments to strengthen relationships and enhance service delivery
- Maintaining secure, compliant environments through oversight of surveillance systems (e.g., Pelco VideoXpert), access controls, and facility safety systems
- Overseeing property accountability and asset management programs (e.g., Maximo), and leading inventory integrity and audits across facilities
- Supporting logistics and fleet vehicle management programs, including maintenance scheduling and dispatch optimization
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma and 7+ years of progressively responsible experience in facility management, logistics, or property oversight, preferably in secure government or contractor environments
- Strong working knowledge of Maximo asset management software
- Experience with facility operations including budgeting, vendor coordination, fleet logistics, and inventory controls
- Demonstrated expertise managing physical security systems such as access controls, surveillance (Pelco), and compliance protocols
- Hands-on experience supporting space planning, preventive maintenance, and facility upgrades
- Ability to coordinate and lead cross-functional teams and vendors on high-impact, multi-site initiatives
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in Video Management Systems (e.g., Pelco VideoXpert)
- Specialized training in logistics or fleet management
- Prior work supporting DOJ or Intelligence Community missions
- Experience coordinating facility engineering in classified environments
- Strong knowledge of safety and environmental regulations applicable to federal buildings
- Familiarity with Gigatrak or similar inventory control software
Clearance Requirements:
- An active TS/SCI with Polygraph is required.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%
- Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
- Frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations
