Job Summary: The RN Pulmonary specializes in caring for patients with respiratory conditions, such as COPD, asthma, or pneumonia. Responsibilities include monitoring lung function, administering respiratory therapies, and collaborating with pulmonologists to optimize patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess respiratory status, including lung sounds and oxygen saturation levels.
- Administer inhaled medications, nebulizer treatments, and supplemental oxygen.
- Provide patient education on breathing exercises and disease management.
- Work with respiratory therapists and other providers to develop comprehensive care plans.
