Registered Nurse (RN) - Renal

Job Summary: The RN Renal delivers specialized care to patients with kidney-related conditions, such as chronic kidney disease or end-stage renal failure. Responsibilities include monitoring fluid intake/output, administering dialysis (if applicable), and coordinating care with nephrologists.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Observe renal function indicators, including creatinine, BUN, and electrolyte levels.
  • Provide or coordinate dialysis treatments if required.
  • Educate patients on fluid restrictions, diet modifications, and medication adherence.
  • Collaborate with nephrologists, dietitians, and social workers for a holistic approach.
  • Document patient progress and adjust care plans as needed.

Work Environment:
