Shift: 6:45 PM - 7:00 AM
Experience:
• 24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
• 36 months of Intensive Care Unit experience is required with some in the last 24 months.
• Travel experience is required from any number of months.
• Experience with Epic is required from any number of months.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Texas license or compact license (required for submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Local & travel allowed.
• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
• Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.

Candidates need to be flexible on scheduling - no self scheduling
Schedule is developed by a scheduler, 6 week schedule block, Scheduled based on unit needs
Weekend Requirements: Every other
Holiday Requirements: holidays are required.
Floating Requirements Critical care and PCU
Beds 18
Nurse Patient Ratios: 2:1, 1:1 with defined patient conditions; 1: 3 patient ratio.
Common diagnoses/Types of patients: Resp Failure, Sepsis, End stage liver disease, Renal failure
Busy/Large Level 1 Trauma - Successful placements here have worked in a very busy hospital in the past.
Experience or ‘Must have’ skills “Must Have: Current experience in a high acuity ICU.
Prefer: Current CRRT w/ NxStage device
Are RNs required to titrate drips Yes - Common titratable &/or set rate drips Levo, Epi, Dopa. For sedation: Propofol, Dilaudid Acute Respiratory Failure- refractory to conventional therapy: Ketamine, Versed, NMBA- Nimbex
CRRT experience preferred
The required CLABSi, HAPI, CAUTI documentation
7 days maximum time off. Facility holidays: 12/25/2025, 01/01/2025, 11/27/2025. Number of holidays allowed off: 1. Start assignment restriction: 14 days
1 reference from last 12 months (Manager/Supervisor reference type) - required for submission
