Experience:
• 12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
• 24 months of Intensive Care Unit experience is required with some in the last 24 months.
• Experience with Epic is required from any number of months.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Illinois license (required for submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

GB Campus is cardio vascular focused and the EV campus sees a lot of interventional neuro.
Ideal candidates will have competencies within both spaces.
Required Skills: Interpretation/management of dysrhythmias, multi-system organ failure, thermoregulation, CABG, Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump, Impella, Post Cardiac Surgery (not directly from the OR), Pre/Post Cardiac Cath/intervention, Pulmonary Artery Line/Swan Ganz monitoring, Valve Replacement/Repair
LVAD/RVAD, CVVHD/CRRT, IV therapy (accessing ports, arterial line management, blood product administration, central line care/management, PICC line management, starting IVs), Medications (continuous IV paralytics/neuromuscular blockade, continuous IV sedation, emergency medications, procedural sedation administration, titrate cardiac drips, titrate vasoactive drips)
CVA/Acute Stroke Management, Lumbar drains, assist with management of BiPAP, Assist with management of CPAP, Care of ventilated patient, high flow nasal cannula (HFNC), interpretation of ABGs, suctioning (ETT, NT), ventilator management, infection prevention, isolations precautions/Use of PPE, phlebotomy, surgical wounds with drains/would vac
