Shift: 6:30 AM - 6:30 PM
Experience:
• 24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
• 24 months of Intensive Care Unit experience is required with some in the last 24 months.
• Experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Nebraska license or compact license (required for submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.
• Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.

Candidates may not be full time, part time, or PRN with any facility associated with Common Spirit, including CHI and/or Dignity.
Driver’s license required at submittal and will be used to determine if candidate is outside 50 miles.
Pass/Fail exam on Friday during orientation. OPEN BOOK exam on skills learned - they are given all necessary resources to pass. Must receive a 90% to pass or they will be terminated
Will Not Approve Blocked Scheduling Unless It’s Weekends Only, I Can Ask. They Also Will Not Take Duos That Want Same Schedule Or Share Car.
Common diagnoses/Types of patients: Adults, sepsis, post-stent, pacemaker placement, stroke, vascular cases, renal failure, heart failure, respiratory distress
Common titratable &/or set rate drips: Any cardiac drip, insulin, sedation
Weekend Requirements: Every other
Holiday Requirements: Rotating based on weekend group
Floating Requirements: Typically to PCU, possibly to MedSurg
How many shifts of unit/department specific orientation : 3 shifts
Facility holidays: 12/25/2025, 01/01/2025, 11/27/2025. Number of holidays allowed off: 1. Start assignment restriction: 14 days
