Pine Woods Animal Hospital is seeking a Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our team! Our technicians are crucial in delivering exceptional patient care by taking Technician appointments, assisting with surgery, coordinating and executing treatment plans, and providing thorough client education. Additionally, you will coordinate with your team to manage the veterinarian's orders, ensuring the highest level of patient care and maintaining an efficient workflow to keep exams running on schedule.

This is a full-time position, Mon-Fri with rotating half-day Saturdays Compensation and Benefits: - Competitive pay: $23-$25/hour **for each hour worked (based on experience)

Required qualifications and skillset: - Current Veterinary Technician License in the state of New York
- 3+ years of veterinary experience in a clinical setting
- Proficiency in the following skills:
- Surgical assistance including induction, monitoring, and post-op recovery
- Dental prophylaxis and radiographs
- Blood draws and IVC placement
- Microscopic evaluation
- Outpatient procedures
