Experience:
• 24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
• 12 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience is required with some in the last 24 months.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Texas license or compact license (required for submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Local & travel allowed.
• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
• Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.

Travelers fill in the gaps on first schedule, will try to get travelers a block schedule after that
Weekend Requirement: every other weekend
Holiday Requirement: rotate in with core staff
First to Float between College Station and Bryan campus (16 minutes apart) as needed.
Beds 38 average census 22-27
Common diagnoses/Types of patients: Basic surgical-appys, choles, etc, some ortho-shoulders, hips, knees; basic cardiac, day 2 post STEMI, medical, COPD, suicidal pts, renal disease, large geriatric population-lots of wounds, bedsores, some trauma
RN MUST be able to 100% read and interpret strips
**RN must pass the Basic Dysrhythmia (83%) before signing the contract. They will be given three attempts to pass.**
Candidates may not have been directly employed (full time, part time, or PRN) by any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and/or Dignity within the past year. Candidates who were employed PRN through outside firms will be considered.
7 days maximum time off. Facility holidays: 12/25/2025, 01/01/2025, 11/27/2025. Number of holidays allowed off: 1. Start assignment restriction: 14 days
1 reference from last 12 months (Manager/Supervisor reference type) - required for submission
1 reference from last 3 years (Any reference type) - required for submission
