Experience:
• 24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
• 24 months of Intensive Care Unit experience is required with some in the last 24 months.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Nebraska license or compact license (required for submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.
• Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.

Weekend Requirements: Every other
Holiday Requirements: Rotating based on weekend group
Floating Requirements: Typically to PCU, possibly to MedSurg
Beds: 33 beds, average daily census is 16
Nurse Patient Ratios: 1:2-3 for adults
Common diagnoses/Types of patients: Adults, sepsis, post-stent, pacemaker placement, stroke, vascular cases, renal failure, heart failure, respiratory distress
Are RNs required to titrate drips : Yes - Common titratable &/or set rate drips: Any cardiac drip, insulin, sedation
RNs required to read and interpret
RN’s - Pass/Fail exam on Friday during orientation. OPEN BOOK exam on skills learned - they are given all necessary resources to pass. Must receive a 90% to pass or they will be terminated
Candidates may not be full time, part time, or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and/or Dignity.
RTO needed upfront (7 or less days per 13 week contract). Additional RTO will not be approved, including after submissions.
