Experience:
• 24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
• 24 months of Intensive Care Unit experience is required with some in the last 24 months.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Maryland license or compact license (required for submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.
• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
• Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

Additional Details:
Previous perm staff must be gone for 2 years before they are eligible to return in a traveler capacity. No exceptions.
Artificial nails are not allowed for any travelers. Failure to adhere could result in being sent home and/or terminated if policy is not followed.
If candidate worked a perm facility in the last 12 months, 1 reference must be from perm facility.
Roles requiring a state licensure only: Cannot have any licensure hits
Shifts & Scheduling: 12-hour shifts, 645-715, extra shifts may be available, if traveler has preferences manager is open to working with block scheduling
Weekend Requirement: every other- required. Night shift is Friday Saturday Sunday
Holiday Requirements rotates with regular staff
Floating Requirement: if census is low they may float to MedSurg as needed, typically do not take a full team of patients
Beds 4
Common diagnoses/Types of patients: resp failure, afib. Rvr, suicide, detox, some MedSurg overflow, occasional art lines, can take pediatrics, no PCU/intermediate care in building
Are RNs required to titrate drips yes - Common titratable &/or set rate drips propofol, Cardizem, insulin, precedex, levo, etc.
RNs monitor and read strips for MedSurg and ICU - house wide
7 days maximum time off
1 reference from last 2 years (Charge/Lead reference type) - required for submission
1 reference from last 12 months (Manager/Supervisor reference type) - required for submission
Driver’s license required for submission
