Position Summary/Department Summary:Full-time social work position in the Fetal Care and Surgery Center providing a range of clinical services to pregnant women diagnosed with a fetal anomaly.
Key Responsibilities:- Screening/assessment/treatment of maternal mental health
- Psychosocial consultation to multidisciplinary team
- Coordination of care within BCH and with partner delivery hospitals
- Opportunity to be involved in the development of the psychosocial arm of a new fetal surgery program.
Minimum QualificationsEducation:- Master’s degree in social work
Experience:- Comfort with crisis management, goals of care discussions and bereavement
- Flexibility and ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment is essential.
- Interest in program development and research is desirable
- Pervious medical social work experience preferred
- Bilingual/bicultural/diverse candidates are encouraged to apply
Licensure/Certifications:- LICSW in the state of MA required.
Schedule: Four ten hour days Monday through Thursday
This is an outpatient position that is 100% onsite.
