Shift: 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM
Experience:
• 12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
• 22 months of Labor & Delivery Unit experience is required with some in the last 24 months.
• Experience with Epic is required from any number of months.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Washington license or compact license (required after submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.
• Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

RTO must be listed at time of submission.
All positions at Providence Health & Services require that any and all lab items requested during onboarding be completed within 72 hours of signing a contract - no exceptions. This means candidates must be responsive and willing to go to a lab to complete health orders ASAP after signing. Failure to comply may lead to a pushed start or cancellation as assessed by the facility.
References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years
Cannot have any hits/suspensions on license or any background hits from any point in the past.
-If you have a multistate/compact nursing license, you will be required to complete a one time 6 hour suicide prevention training according to the WA state regulations. (Nursing positions only).

Weekends Required: It is typically every other weekend but it can be more frequently to fill the holes in the schedule with increased leaves and PTO.

Will this traveler need to float between like units Yes, based on need. L&D and Post Partum experience is required.
NO holiday RTO.
Orientation Details: three days of orientation in the first week, usually Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.
This is a Level III Obstretrical Unit.
Orientation Hours: 40
Patient Age Groups: Neonates, Adults
Patient Diagnoses: High Risk perinatal care. Level III, 19 labor and delivery beds, 10 antepartum beds, 30 postpartum beds, 3 ORs, 2 PACU, 7 bay triage
Must commit to working 3 of the 5 holidays (Thanksgiving, Xmas Eve, Xmas Day, NYE, NYD)
Background Policy to be noted prior to submission: Please notify of BG or Nursys hits at time of submittal; can submit with BG/Nursys hits, but must present to client for written approval.
Return Staff Policy: 3 month rule to return as traveler
Travelers regularly float between various like units, within skill set
ACLS, BLS Must be AHA (Instructor, Provider, or RQI) or “Heart&Stroke” certification from Canadian Heart & Stroke Foundation ONLY.
