COMPENSATION AND BENEFITSConsult Psychiatry (PSY)

• BASE: Up to $400K+ negotiablebased on training and experience - NO STATE TAX
• Relocation - $30,000
• Sign on bonus - 10% of base salary
• Potential for annual base increase based on performance
• Length of service: 2 years with option to renew with retention bonus
• NO non-compete clause
• Student Loan Repayment:PSLF eligible employer
• PTO: Accrued bi-weekly, ability to bank hours
• CME: 40 hours + Stipend

• Consultation - Liaison service in hospital
• No inpatient mental health unit
• Work with interdisciplinary team including support staff
• 24/7 Emergency Department coverage by master’s level Crisis Clinicians
• See all ages including children and adolescents
• 7 days on and 7 days off; Psychiatrist hours: 7am - 7pmAverage consults per day 5-7 with 1-2 new consults per day.
• Shared call coverage, only when on rotation – Rarely go in, physician phonedby ER for consult.
• The hospital has specialty services in surgery (including trauma and burn), orthopedics, intensive care, mother-baby (OB), pediatrics.

• Unique opportunity to join a non-profit organization serving Alaska Natives and American Indians in Alaska at a Joint Commission Accredited tertiary care hospital with specialty services. Learn how to hear and receive story, taste Alaska Native foods in the cafeteria, and stay for the evening drum circles in the hospital.

• Minimum BC or BE General Psychiatry

• The hospital is in Anchorage 15 minutes from the international airport. Enjoy incredible outdoor recreation and scenic views. Over 150 miles of trails in Anchorage, open all year round, for walking, hiking, cycling, and skiing.
• Big-city amenities: fine restaurants, museums, shops, theaters, and an excellent music scene. Embrace both the urban amenities and the surrounding wilderness!
