This position is responsible for:
- Working with Purchasing, Manufacturing, Logistics, Engineering, Quality, Labor Relations, and Finance to prepare comprehensive Make versus Buy studies for decision making by the executive committee.
- Coordinating and leading Executive Make/Buy Committee meetings.
- Supporting cross functional teams in assessing localization or insourcing of value-add projects.
- Developing future cost studies to support contract milestone and product allocation decisions.
- Performing sensitivity analysis as requested to help decision makers frame the alternatives under changing business scenarios.
- Ensuring all studies comply with FCA internal control policies.
- Maintaining database of studies and executive meeting minutes as proof of authorization.
- Assisting non-manufacturing groups with business case analysis as needed.
