Job Summary and Qualifications
At Henrico Doctors’ Hospital, our OB Antepartum Unit is a brand new state-of-the-art facility consisting of 21 private OB / Antepartum rooms supported by a team of physicians, maternal fetal medicine specialists, nurses, educators, and social workers to guide patients through their OB/antepartum, post-partum, or GYN surgical stay. Our specialties include breast diagnostics, minimally invasive and complex surgeries. The Women’s Hospital at Forest includes a level III neonatal intensive care unit (NICU), multiple maternal fetal medicine specialists and 24/7 neonatologist coverage for high-risk pregnancies and childbirths.
- You will communicate effectively and professionally with internal and external customers as well as document required information according to hospital policy
- Our nursing staff is expected to present themselves in a professional manner
- As a OB/Antepartum RN, assessing patients is a key responsibility
- You must function in an organized and time conscious manner
What qualifications you will need:
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (BSN preferred)
Current BLS certification
Current Registered Nurse license in Virginia or a compact license
At least one year OBGYN/Antepartum experience required
