Upstate Hematology Oncologyis looking for anInfusion Registered Nurseto join their team! This is a full-time position, Monday - Friday 8:00am-4:30pm.NO WEEKENDS, NO Mandatory OT, Paid holidays
**This position is eligible for up to a $3,500 recruitment and retention bonus!!**
Responsibilities:
- Placement and care of IV sites
- Obtain blood specimens by peripheral vein and ports
- Mixing and administration of chemotherapy products; on the job training
- Administration of injections
- Patient education of chemotherapy regimens and side effect management.
- Document verbal conversations with patients when appropriate
- Document information into patient record in an accurate, legible and timely manner.
- Assess vital signs and the reason for each patient visit
- Triage patient phone calls: collect, analyze and create a well-documented plan of care for the patient based on their present symptoms and expected healthcare outcomes.
- Prepare patient for visit as appropriate, based on office and provider requirements.

Compensation: $32.00 - $45.50 per hour

Requirements
- Valid NYS RN license.
- Strong IV skills.
- Previous experience in an RN role, two years in med-surg/ER setting
- Strong computer skills.
- Knowledge of basic nursing principles and protocols.
- Knowledge of medical chart reporting/records.
- Skill in appropriate assessment and assistance techniques.
- Infusion experience is preferred but not required.
